When people visit your site you want to tempt them to leave their name and number; not only purchase your affiliate product or whatever else you are promoting on your site.

Give them something for "free." People love free things and will most likely be willing to leave their email and name for the freebie.

Do not ever let your list stay there without any contact. Do not expect your customers to purchase your promotions on the first newsletter.
